Dilute Metamorphosis is a single-channel performance video examining adaptation and behavioral transformation in response to environmental conditions. The work considers how bodies adjust position and action by observing and internalizing external models of movement and choice. While transformation becomes necessary for survival, the piece questions whether core human nature can be fundamentally altered. Through performance, animation, and sound, the work frames change as a continuous negotiation between conformity and persistence. The project is a collaboration between visual artist Rose Ansari and musician John Daniel.
