Erin Gordon is a PhD Candidate and curator currently based at The University of Texas at Austin in the Department of Art and Art History. Her dissertation project interweaves the growing interest in technology and art from the 1960s onward with the trajectory of artist-musician Laurie Anderson’s visual arts practice. Research interests include the social potential of media-based art and technology, specifically how it is mobilized through moving image installations, television broadcasting, and video games.
