Tian Jiang is an artist and researcher from Beijing, China, whose work explores the intersections of surveillance, media archaeology, and embodied interaction. Drawing on both theoretical inquiry and experimental practice, she creates interactive installations that examine how digital infrastructures shape perception, memory, and cultural control. After receiving her BA from the China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2012, Jiang earned her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2015. She is currently a PhD candidate at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where her research engages with media theory, VR/AR game design, and physical computing. Jiang’s work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Royal Opera Arcade Gallery (London), the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center (USA), and the Santa Fe International New Media Festival (USA).
