Adam Fung

Associate Professor of Art
Texas Christian University

Adam Fung is an Associate Professor of Art at Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth, Texas, U.S.A. He received his MFA degree from University of Notre Dame and BFA degree from Western Washington University. Fung works primarily as a Painter and also with film. He has a dynamic range of research interests that touch upon issues such as climate change, landscape, and considering our planet as an interconnected systems or Hyper-object. Fung’s recent painting exhibition history includes shows in Norway, Ireland, New York, and Fort Worth, Texas. In summer 2025 Fung was an Artist-in-Residence in Australia’s Blue Mountains, at the BigCi. Past residencies include the 2023 & 2016 Arctic Circle Artist Residency and Expedition around the archipelago of Svalbard and Iceland. His work can be found in public art collections at Microsoft, South Bend Museum of Art, and the US Department of Energy’s Fermilab, and numerous private collections.
