Luca Lee
Luca Lee works as a transmedia artist and researcher. Recent works explore identity and speculative fiction in —and beyond— the human-centered framework as world-making practices through installation, extended reality, 3D art, sound, and AI. Luca’s practice interrogates the evolving relationships between humans, machines, and the environments we inhabit. It spans autobiographical explorations of queerness and migration to speculative projects on emergent life forms, investigating how technological and ecological transformations reshape our sense of existence. He has exhibited works at Minimal Gallery (USA, 2025), WSA (USA, 2025, 2024), Dok Exchange XR (Germany, 2023), FILE Festival (Brazil, 2023), The Holy Art Gallery (UK, 2022) and ChaShama (USA, 2022), and has received residencies and fellowships from Foreign Objekt (2024), New Art City (2022), the New York Foundation for the Arts (2022, 2018), Silver Arts Projects (2021) and Culture Push (2020). Since 2023, he has been a member of NEW INC, an incubator for art and technology led by the New Museum in New York.
