Shihan Zhang is an award-winning design futurist and speculative designer. Drawing on a systematic and cultural lens, Shihan’s works explore the possibilities of emerging technologies and extrapolate world conditions to address Anthropocene challenges, fostering 'more-than-human' reflections through immersive storytelling and tangible artifacts.

Humbly recognized by Fast Co. Innovation by Design Awards, World Changing Ideas Awards, Core77 Award, Falling Walls Science Summit, Lumen Prize, International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA), WIRED Creative Hack Award, and named the 100 Designs of the Year by Award360 (Asia), she has also shared her work globally at the Museum of Design Atlanta, Hyundai Motorstudio, Toronto Design Week, and Figma Conference, among others.

Her cross-disciplinary experience spans roles as a Creative Member at NEW INC, Creative at SPACE10 @IKEA, Exhibition Chair for The Design Futures Initiative, Adjunct Professor at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and Certified Foresight Professional with the Global Foresight Advisory Council, among others.
